[Duplicated] Resume: a face of an identity

A journey from campus to corporate is run through with a combination of tools like Resume, cover letter, degree, certificates, achievements, group discussion potential, interviewing skills and after all blend of different skills enhancement as Grooming.
Few are visible tools where as many as are invisible. I always thought which one is more powerful or both are equally important? then realize every environment and people trying to teach about visible things as good marks, accolades, certificates, medals, trophies so many. but what about internal improvement which is not seen by other people easily which we called Experience.
As per Pareto’s Principle of 80/20 the law of the vital few or the principle of factor sparsity- states that, for many events, roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes.
same applied in the journey of learning and grooming. where we put hard effort to gain the maximum result of 80% by putting all efforts on 20 % only.
It means rest area become untouched or effortless.
That is an invisible working area of improvement and grooming.

Graduation is the right time to start working on visible as well as an invisible area of improvement. This journey would start with self-assessment converts on paper is called Resume.

Resume: As somebody recognizes with their face, voice, personality, and attitude so on. but recognition is happen when we get a chance to meet or interact face to face with the other person. If situation is not face to face then we need information and snap to know the person. The document carries information and snap of people in simple language is called RESUME.

It contains mainly five segments as

  • Name and contact details
  • *Professional Summary (in case of experience)
  • Objective (how can utilize skills and where can contribute with these skills in coming prescribed timing)
  • Education and Qualification
  • Experience: this not only contains earned learning but also my contribution as an volunteering and any social activities in case of youth training, projects, internship etc.
  • Achievements: last two to three years would considered if on national or international level winning position more then last three year could also considered, last but not the least
  • Interest area: few are assuming as strength or talent or hobbies but it would be specified to the upcoming recruiter where i would be happy to work and much satisfied with my engagement capacity.

In a way while we click a pic of any place with beautiful background which completes the sense of expressing to others same way beautifying of the resume is being complete with its grammatical correctness, good and easy vocabulary, nice expression of sentence. As person beautifies with changeover and makeup, person’s beautify with formatting and creative way of presenting about themselves by words on papers which create a beautiful face of an identity and also provide chances to open opportunities.
