Academic Outreach Initiative of IPER | Quantitative Techniques for Managers
The Academic Outreach Initiative of IPER (AOII) successfully hosted an insightful online session on “Quantitative Techniques for Managers and Its Applications” on 04 October 2026.
The session was conducted by Prof. Rakesh Verma, Professor, Indian Institute of Management Mumbai (IIM Mumbai). The session explored important concepts including quantitative analysis, data interpretation, measures of central tendency and variability, distributions, quartiles, boxplots and standard deviation.
The interaction helped participants understand how quantitative techniques can support data-driven managerial analysis and decision-making.
With 250+ participants joining the session, AOII continued its endeavour to create meaningful academic exposure by connecting students with experienced academicians beyond the regular classroom.
