IPER MBA HEAD START 2026 | Day 1 – A Beginning with Purpose
Some days mark the beginning of a journey. Day 1 of HEAD START was one such day for the 30th MBA Batch. 
The inaugural session began with the Lamp Lighting Ceremony, an integral part of IPER’s culture, symbolising the beginning of a new journey in the presence of our dignitaries.
The students then witnessed the IPER’s Journey Showcase, giving them a glimpse into the institution they are now a part of.
Mr. Narendra Rawtani, Chairman – Chaitanya Shiksha Samiti, shared an insightful message with the students, giving them a vision of how to make the most of the 24 hours they have every day and use their time meaningfully.
This was followed by the Welcome Speech by Dr. Amarjeet S. Khalsa, Group Director – IPER Group of Institutions, who spoke about the opportunities that are coming towards the students and encouraged them to recognise and make the most of them.
The students then heard from our distinguished guests:
Dr. Partha Sarathi Basu, Head HR & IR – Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles Ltd. Mr. Amit Sharma, Head HR – ITC Fibre Innovations Ltd. Mr. Gaurav Agarwal, Cluster Head – HDFC BankEach brought their own experiences and perspectives, offering valuable advice to the students as they begin their MBA journey.
The inaugural session concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Dr. Mahesh Soni, Chairman – MBA Programme, IPER Group of Institutions, followed by the National Song and National Anthem.
The second half of the day shifted towards getting students acquainted with their learning ecosystem, with IPER’s Digital Learning Platform being explained by Prof. Anil Purushothaman and Prof. Manish Nair.
And then came one of the most engaging sessions of the day — “Celebrating Life” by Dr. Amarjeet Singh Khalsa, Group Director – IPER Group of Institutions, bringing together reflections on life, perspective and the journey ahead.
And with that, Day 1 of HEAD START came to a close.
But this is only the beginning.
Day 2 awaits — with more energy, more learning and more experiences for the 30th MBA Batch.
