Recognitions

The 2-Year, Full Time MBA is a Post Graduate Programme approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi, and affiliated to Barkatullah University, Bhopal.

IPER Bhopal was one of the first Institutions in Central India in 2005 to receive an NBA Accredition, and IPER Bhopal is among the top 100 Management Schools of India.


The 22nd Batch of IPER MBA will commence in July-August 2018.

 

To Apply for MBA:

  1. Candidate should have appeared for AICTE CMAT
  2. Students who are in the final year of their Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) or who have appeared in the final year examination from a recognised institution/university are eligible to appear CMAT test.
  3.  Subsequently, counseling is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Govt. of Madhya Pradesh. CMAT score is used for admissions in Management Programs of institutes approved by AICTE.

CMAT is a National Level Entrance exam, conducted by AICTE. CMAT is held once in a year (generally in January). AICTE announces the exam dates in prominent National newspapers and various websites. The examination is computer based.

    The examination is computer based.

  1. Duration of Exam: The examination duration is 180 minutes.
  2. Pattern: There are four sections, with 25 questions in each section that includes (a) Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation b) Logical Reasoning c) Language Comprehension and d) General Awareness.Evaluation: For each correct answer there are 4 marks, for each wrong answer 1 mark shall be deducted.
  3. Fees: General/OBC: Rs.1200 + Bank charges as applicable. SC/ST/PD: Rs.600 + Bank charges as applicable. See AICTE-CMAT Website for latest update. In Foreign Countries: $125 + Bank charges as applicable

Missed CMAT Exam , Now what?

Those who have missed giving the exam can also be allowed to appear for counseling based on qualifying exam percentage as per the DTE guidelines. However, this happens after CMAT-based Admission Counselling is over, for the vacant seats, if any. To keep yourself in contention please register with us to receive updates on the same. 

The admission process is as follows:

  1. On the basis of CMAT, the Directorate of Technical Education of Madhya Pradesh (DTE), Govt. of MP conducts Admission Counseling.
  2. Subsequently counseling for those who have missed CMAT is held as per DTE, Govt. of M.P guidelines strictly based on merit as per graduation Percentage(qualifying exam).
  3. The Candidate List is sent to IPER where the candidate has to confirm his candidature and deposit the requisite fee.

Candidate should be a Citizen of India holding a Graduate Degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks (for SC/ST and OBC – 45%) of any UGC/AICTE approved Indian University or a foreign University recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU)

Duration and Seats

Number of Seats: 300 (Reservation / Quota as per DTE, Govt. of MP Guidelines)
Duration of course: 2 Years Full-Time

Fee Details for the Academic Session 2018 of MBA is as follows –

Tuition Fees: Rs 43,500 /- for the First semester, and Rs. 44,500 /- per semester (applicable on Second, Third and Fourth Semester)
Caution Money : Rs 1,500/- (one time to be paid at the time of admission, refundable)
Placement charges : Rs 2,000/- (one time to be paid at the time of admission)
(The fee structure of IPER MBA is as per the Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (AFRC), Government of MP)

Student Loan Facility

Bank Loan facility for students is available for IPER MBA. Nationalized Banks such as Allahabad Bank, SBI, Axis Bank etc. have been providing educational loans to our students in the past, subject to fulfillment of the criteria stipulated by the respective Bank.

What is MBA (Full Time) Programme? When will the couselling for Admission to MBA start ?

Our Master in Business Administration (Full Time) Programme is of a two year duration, with 2 Semesters in each year. The course is affiliated to The Barkatullah University, Bhopal and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

Usually the counseling starts in June every year.


How many seats are available in IPER MBA (Full Time) ? What is the fee structure of MBA (Full Time) Programme?

The current intake capacity of our MBA (Full Time) is 300 students per year. (SC/ST/OBC Quota is applicable as per the rules and regulations of Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of M.P.)

All fees are set as per the guidelines of AFRC, Govt. of M.P

Fees for Academic Session 2018 of MBA was:

  1. Tuition Fees: Rs 43,500 /-* for the First Semester, Rs. 44,500/- per semester from Second Semester onwards
  2. Caution Money : Rs 1,500/-* (refundable)
  3. Placement Charges : Rs 2,000/-* (one time to be paid at the time of admission)

This is a 2 year full time Degree.


What is the Eligibility Criteria for getting admission in MBA (Full Time)?

Students seeking admission in MBA (Full Time) should be Graduates in any stream from any Indian or recognised Foreign University with a minimum score of 50%. For SC/ST/OBC candidates the minimum score is 45% marks.


What test scores does MBA (Full Time) accept for admissions?

Admissions are strictly on basis of CMAT held by AICTE. However for those who have missed out on giving the test can still appear for Counselling/admission based on qualifying exam percentage for which the DTE, Govt. of M.P releases guidelines on the same. On what basis the final selection of candidates is done in MBA (Full Time) ?

What about the students whose Final Year results are awaited ?

The final year students can appear in counseling and can secure their admissions by procuring result awaited certificate from their respective colleges. The students will have to produce their marksheets before the last date as stipulated by DTE on their website


How can I apply?
