Expert Talk on “Indian Economic Health & Potential in prevailing Global Environment” by Lt. Col. A. K. Chaturvedi, Bhopal Management Association was held on 26th of Oct., 2015 at IPER Auditorium, Bhopal.

Indian Economic Health & Potential in prevailing Global Environment as a phenomenon has been the most discussed one in the recent times. Yet it’s still difficult to understand its interpretation and implication. Students participated in large numbers with enthusiasm. This event was unique in its own format as it has added new dimensions apart from classroom inputs and to explore the topic in the new horizon.

The session was formally inaugurated with the welcome speech delivered by Group Director, IPER, Prof. (Dr.) Amarjeet Singh Khalsa. In his speech, he briefed about the economic perspective and India’s stand in a Global economic scenario.

The session was addressed by the LT. COL. A.K.Chaturvedi and Shri Vishwas Gushe of Bhopal Management Association who interacted with MBA students in the session related to Indian economic health and potential in prevailing global environment and Indian Economy.

Lt. Col. A.K.chaturvedi and Shri Vishwas Gushe of BMA were briefing about the various sectors of the economy, risks involved in the policy initiatives ,role and road map adopted by the Govt., challenges and opportunities which are existing in the Global market & Environment. The session was covered in 4 Parts. Part-1 was based on Global Environment, Part II –Indian economic health, Part III on   national steps & Part IV was an evaluation of economy and recommendations .He also explained about Economic Performance, Competition and Cooperation, the road map through which Govt, can propel the economy, driving the economic scenario, world Institutions, Indian reform initiative and challenges which are cropping were explained in great detail to the students.

Shri. Vishwas Gushe , Bhopal Management Association stated about the role of BMA and economic dimension that affects the business environment. The Bhopal Management Association was formed in June 2006. Affiliated with the prestigious All India Management Association (AIMA) – the apex Management body of the country. The Objective of the Organisation is “To promote and develop education in the theory and practice of management and related subjects, through meetings, discussions, lectures, research projects, seminars, conferences, workshop, clinics, programmes of studies and to disseminate and exchange information, experience and ideas and to promote commerce and industry and to give necessary guidance to the members in industrial and commercial activities.

While addressing the IPER -MBA student’s guest experts from BMA appreciated the students’ knowledge. IPER is always known for its academic excellence, with this type of initiative, the objective was to synergize and understand the business environment and provide a platform to the students for practical learning beyond the classroom for which IPER is always recognised. Throughout the session, students were excited to learn about the practical realities shaping the financial world and shown great interest, zeal and enthusiasm of learning by asking questions varied in Business environment.
