The Concept:

Summer Internship is an integral part of the management curriculum at IPER. It is a practice that introduces corporate life and real-time business to students over the theoretical classes. With an aim of molding work ethics, a summer internship offered to implement management strategies and concepts at the functional workplace.

The objective of the summer internship includes:

  1. The practical implication of the lesson learned in classes.
  2. Providing a platform for students which will be useful to further their career perspective.
  3. Developing and enhancing corporate life to students.
  4. Deserving candidates often get Pre-Placement Offers.

The Process:

At IPER, there is a dedicated department working for the placement and summer internship in the following way:

  1. The job profile will be shared on ibranch (IPER Student Portal) under the career center section.
  2. Students have to submit LOI (Letter of Intent) and the updated Resume.
  3. Students have to appear in the campus process and interview positively on the given time. (or else will not be allowed for next 3 offers)
  4. On selection, students have to confirm his candidature with the company as per the offer letter accepted by them. In the case of multiple selections, students should accept only one letter and give regret letter to another company within 48 hours.
  5. Mentor will provide guidelines and details for the summer internship project.
  6. Senior management or mentor will evaluate the Students’ performance in order to create values out of the internship.

Get Informed:

To avail the placement opportunity, students should fill up the student information sheet through the link shared on ibranch (IPER MBA student portal). Students should provide correct contact details so that students can be notified with recent news, notices or updates. It is suggested to students to check online portal regularly to avail better opportunities.

Maintain Grading:

Placement opportunities offered to students are subjected to eligibility. Students having high grades are eligible for the summer internship and placement. Students can score high grades by their active participation in other extracurricular activities like presentation, MOOCs online courses, annual fest, sports competition, arts and culture programs, attendance along with the academic performance.

Always provide Correct Information:

Students are advised to provide correct details always either it is contact details, grading or other documents. Providing wrong information can eliminate the name from the process of placement or also subjected to further admission to college.

Follow Schedule Strictly:

Students should adhere to the timelines strictly in every process started from form filing to the interview. Students should forward Letter of Indent, resume, application (if asked) before the deadline and have to report the campus process on stipulated time. No late submission will be entitled in any case.
