21st April 2018, IPER Campus witnessed Central India’s unique contest of Market Product Launching Simulation – WWF Season 12. The product launch simulation is a tested practice at IPER MBA, that helps to learn the marketing tactics and strategies that are taught in the classroom, as applied in the real marketplace.

The objective of the simulation contest is to plan and implement marketing strategies, initiate the process of launching products, developing a believable budget plan and a business model. It develops student’s creative thinking and enhances their business decision-making skills. The event itself has created the benchmark as an effective learning tool for students of management. Let’s have a glimpse of IPER WWF marketing simulation of season 12.

IPER WWF (Season -12): Learning in Action

MBA student teams have put up a good show of business strategies, tactics, and creativity in the presence of corporate professionals. The product categories were Pencil, Packed Cake, Floor cleaner, Mouth Wash. Three teams were divided into the four products categories to compete. The feeling of excitement and the healthy competition among students were on the top that virtually turned the campus into a marketplace where students were ready to launch their new products.

The evaluation factors considered were the financial plan, creativity in trade fair stall organizing, marketing techniques, product features, costing, promotions plans, logistics, packing and so on. Teams were laced with all data and prepared with all marketing techniques that made their performance best and the competition tougher. The judges were professionals from corporate and had a keen observation with bundles of questions to translate the knowledge into an enduring learning artifact.

Winners:

In every allotted category, one team announced as Winner. However, it was really tough to evaluate students’ dedication and handwork.

In pencil category, the winning team is IMPRESSION Pencil with scoring highest marks among all product categories. Congratulations to the winning team of  Deeksha Vishwakarma, Rashmi Verma, Aditya Kumar of Section-1, Jeff Jose, Lavina Kalra of Section-2, Ashi Iram, Akhand Pratap Singh, Akash Shrivastava, Kushagra Jaiswal, Sneha Wadhwani of Section-3 and Abdul Waqar Khan, Nishita Devra, Akhila Mohan of Section-4 under the mentorship of Prof. Anil Purushothaman and Dr. Ramandeep Kaur.

 

In cake category, congratulations to the team of Swadishtious packed cake. The team members were Aman Tenguriya of Section-1, Anuj Adhruj, Nidhi Soni, Dipanshi Sharma of Section-2, Mitali Singh, Samreen Bano, Priya Shrivastava, Syed Bilal Hasan, Jaya Patidar of Section-3 and Dikshant Sen, Shubham Pandey, Dhara Singh, Vaishnavi Dubey of Section-4 under the mentorship of Prof. Praseeja Menon.

 

In Floor Cleaner Category, Congratulations to the team of Clean-O Floor Cleaner. The team members were Nilima, Ranjana Sen, Chetan Das Patil, Aakriti Bhatnagar of MBA Section-1, Harivansh Dogne, Damandeep Singh Chaana, Nikhil Dharamdasani, Neha Rathore, Vinod Singh of Section-3 and Sakshi Bhargava, Nupur Mishra, Mayuri Rawat, Pankaj Singh Patel of Section-4 under the guidance of Prof. Owais Qureshi.

 

In Mouth Wash Category,  Shailesh Sarodey, Anubha Shukla, Vaishali Yadav of Section-1, Pallavi Jain, Saurabh Chadha, Prachi Lohana,  Jagriti Koshta of Section-2, and Aditya Jain, Karishma Madhwani, Raman Kumar, Zainul Farooqui, Prince Khatri of Section-3 under the mentorship of Prof. Rahul Kumar Choubey.
