Special Lecture Series #1 - by Mr. Bhaskar Indrakanti - 18th Sept, 2023

On 18th September 2023, IPER UG hosted an enriching Special Lecture Series on Importance of Skill Development and EQ by Mr. Bhaskar Indrakanti (Director and Co-Founder of Orange Owl, Educator, Influencer, Theatre Artist & TEDX Speaker) at IPER Auditorium.

The event was a major success with enthusiastic participation from around 200 First-year, Second-year, and Third-year students of BBA/BA/B.COM.

Mr. Bhaskar Indrakanti captivated the audience with his insights on the significance of skills and tools for upskilling. He shed light on the vital role of empathy in emotional intelligence, emphasising its power to influence behaviour positively. In a 5-minute meditation, he introduced mindfulness as a fundamental human ability to be fully present, promoting self-awareness and reduced reactivity to our surroundings.

The session continued with an interactive Q&A session that allowed students to engage directly with the speaker, sparking exciting discussions and enriching the learning experience.

The exceptional cooperation, discipline, and punctuality displayed by the students truly elevated the success of this Special Guest lecture.
