Independence Movement Day Celebration
On the occasion of Independence Movement Day, IPER undergraduate NSS students visited Yodhasthal, Dronachal Army Cantt on 08/08/2019. Contrarily, the Army personnel gave the introduction of numerous interesting and thrilling gears to the student and faculties of IPER. A movie showcasing various events related to the gallant Army life in which the Amry played a major role seen by the students and faculties.
The students of IPER showed their keen interest in learning the process and preparation of Army Camp. Afterward, students got a first-hand view of the various war machines and the rich history of our Indian soldiers. They learned about the courage and forfeit of the soldiers for the nation. Students got motivated by such acts of heroism, charismatic leadership and self-sacrifice.
Students witnessed the Param Vir Chakra martyrs and got evocative by the narrative. At last, the students left their messages on the message board for the soldiers expressing their gratitude for their service to the Nation. Further, the group director of IPER Dr. Amarjeet Singh Khalsa expressed the importance of educating the young ones about the ample history of Indian Army and appreciated the celebration of such sensible events.
