IPER UG CSR community in association with NSS organized,‘ A pledge to spread Green’- An Environment awareness drive!!.
Students witnessed and participated in the activity and competition to spread GREEN! Students were first briefed on the importance of ‘Plants’ in our lives and that if we look forward to a progressive tomorrow … we need to take care of our environment today!
Student participants further planted saplings in the campus and being responsible citizens of the country pledged to reduce the usage of Plastic –“The Man made poison , which is the greatest threat to the environment and eco balance today”.
They also pledged to spread the message of plantation and the plant more trees themselves. The day included Slogan Writing Competition on the very theme of ‘ A pledge to spread Green’- An Environment awareness drive!! Where students colored and inked their thoughts.
Bringing words to action, IPER UG gifted ‘Gulmohar’ and ‘Amla’ saplings to the students. Which, they were expected to plant and click a selfie as part of programme-‘SELFIE WITH MY GREEN FRIEND’.
It is just the beginning!! When we say DO MORE, BE MORE , student at IPERUG marches forward as responsible member of society first being an Indian at the core…
Introduction of the Community
Divine Hands aims to embrace responsibility for Social actions and will help to encourage a positive impact on the environment and people. This community was formed to take actions that will enhance the welfare and interests of society.
Objectives of the Community
Our main objective is to aware people about the responsibilities they pursue towards society and motivate them to do so. We want everyone to be healthy, stay safe, enjoy and archive,making a positive contribution towards society.
Scope
- Education : Initiative for providing necessary things to underprivileged children and take care of all their needs including books, clothes, stationary etc.
- Health
- Create awareness against female feticide and infanticide: Role Plays(either ‘Nukkad Nataks’)
- Organizing Blood donation Camp in association with any hospital in Bhopal or at IPER
- Environment

- ‘No to plastic’ an awareness drive by IPER, Bhopal.
- Save Water Initiative/Drive.
- Go Green Initiative.
- Water Harvesting Drive.
Expected Benefits/ Outcome from the Community
Being sensitive about the social issues is what will benefit the most, as well as enlightening the knowledge about various social topics and enhance our lives as well as others.The Community is just not about facilitating social work in society, however is focused to develop that sense of responsibility towards self and society in the youth (students ) of today who will be professionals of tomorrow.
