Bachelor of Commerce at IPER adapts a unique course delivery pedagogy that caters to the new generation undergraduate degrees with emphases including Career Development Programs. This course aims to provide students with the knowledge, tools of analysis and skills with which to understand and participate in the modern business and economics world, to prepare them for subsequent graduate studies and to achieve success in their professional careers.

Academic Features
The goal of our BCom programme is to produce all round candidates. We inculcate critical thinking and evaluation, impart technological competence in a very practical environment.

Teamwork and Communication is an integral component of the programme. Students are assigned group projects that promote group learning and help improve the organisational and leadership skills. Through written and oral presentations, the students develop the confidence to effectively communicate their ideas in a corporate forum.

Student Clubs
A vital part of IPER UG experience is the Students Clubs. Its a vibrant community based on the diversity of our national student body and serves as an important network for alumni and the wider community. These clubs also organise various events through the year that gives an opportunity to every individual student to explore their personal interests and potentials.
There are 4 students clubs at IPER UG –

Evolve – The Academic Club : responsible for holding academic events like WWF, Xpress, etc.
Sanskriti – The Cultural Club : focuses on performing arts, fusions, fresher and farewell parties, festivals, games, etc.
Warriors – The Sports Club : encourages participation in games and sports competitions for physical and mental well-being.
Prayaas – A CSR Initiative : takes the initiative of save the environment concern further by organizing events that sensitises students about our ecosystem and its preservation.

Eligibility & Admission Procedure

 

For admission to Bachelor of Commerce (Economics), a Candidate should have:

  • Passed 12th standard (or equivalent) examination and obtained at least 45% (40% marks for reserved category students)
  • Admissions is done by Higher Education Department, M.P. through an online process. Candidates should register online at DTE website, followed by choice filling for desired college/course/specialisation.

Fee Structure

Fee details (Session 2017) for B.Com (Economics) Full-time Regular Degree Course at IPER UG:

  • Tution Fee* :Rs. 11,950/- per quarter
  • Caution Fee :Rs. 1,650/- (to be paid in First Quarter, refundable)

Bus Facility is free. The above mentioned fee includes all of the following facilities –

B.Com stands for Bachelor of Commerce, is an undergraduate degree in Commerce stream. This bachelor degree is available in different variants/ specializations – B.Com Honors, B.Com Economics, B.Com Advertising and Sales Promotion, B.Com Principles and Practices of Insurance, B.Com Foreign Trade Practice and Procedure.
