A Day in the Textile Industry: Zeal Communitry, IPERUG

 Zeal – the Corporate Interface Community of IPER UG, organized an impactful corporate visit to Vardhman Yarns for our 2nd and 3rd-year students. The visit gave 30 enthusiastic learners a chance to experience real-world insights into the textile industry, witnessing firsthand the transformation of cotton bales into thread at Vardhman’s Mandideep facility.

The visit began with an orientation at the Admin Office, where HR Executive Mr. Rahul Mishra shared valuable insights into Vardhman’s core values, employee welfare policies, CSR initiatives, and their resilience during the COVID-19 lockdown without layoffs. Chief HR Manager, Mr. Abraham Thomas, then engaged in a meaningful discussion on the significance of management knowledge—whether pursuing a corporate career or an entrepreneurial path.

Students gained hands-on exposure to the textile manufacturing process, enhancing their understanding of technical and managerial aspects.

A token of appreciation, including a memento and a sapling, was presented to the HR Chief on behalf of IPER UG, strengthening the bond for future collaborations.
