Upcoming CMTP session on the CENTURYPLY- A Case Study Analysis
With an aim of focusing the brand management, CMPT-3 of the MBA 2018-19 is scheduled on 6th April 2018 at IPER. CMTP is standing for the Contemporary Management Theories and Practices i.e. study through the case based on real industries which is a regular method of teaching management in IPER MBA Curriculum. This time the case study to analysis is CENTURYPLY and their strategies in developing a power brand in a commoditized market.
The teaching pedagogy through the case study facilitates the class discussion about a particular topic either of business or management issues. It spurs debate among students and promotes a particular point of view or steer students in a particular direction. Different case studies are meant to teach different strategy of management in which some highlights the decision-making, some are demonstrative or descriptive while some are data-based. The case study analysis gives students the chance to be in the shoes of the protagonist and analyze the situation and what they would and would not do in a particular situation, why and how?
