Cultural Activity : Abhiyan Event – Kala
‘Kala’ event under Abhiyan- series events was conducted on 19th December 2016. The students perusing MBA I semester and PGDM I Trimester conducted and participated in the events. The following events were conducted-
Dance- group dance was performed by the students. The dances performed showcased the talent of students showing the Indian culture. Brilliant performances were performed by several students that enhances the joy of event.
Singing- the students presented solo songs. The students presented classical and contemporary songs. Winners- 1st prize – Stephen Joseph MBA Sec-1, 2nd prize – Hussain MBA Sec-4, 3rd prize – Aditi MBA Sec-3 and Consolation Prize Winner – Sachin Sharma MBA Sec-1.
Fashion show- the students showcased their talent on the ramp as well. The fashion show titled ‘sparkles’ was based on the theme ‘threads of traditional’. The participants presented themselves in tradition attire. The prize best dress; male was bagged by – Wasi Haider MBA Sec-1 & best dress; female by – Jolly Gupta MBA Sec-2. The first prize female was bagged by Shazia Khan MBA Sec-1 & first prize male by Faisal Ali PGDM Trim-2.
The event was a great success. The student’s potential in all fields was evident and they enjoyed very much.
