Unfolding Management – Talk by Dr. AS Khalsa
On 26th August , 2015 Students of IPER MBA attended the expert talk on the theme “ Unfolding Management” by Prof.( Dr.) Amarjeet Singh Khalsa at the Institutes Auditorium. Around 240 students were present on the occasion.
Prof.( Dr.) Amarjeet Singh Khalsa, the Group Director of IPER while welcoming and addressing the new students joining the Institute said , “The Induction Programme at IPER helped us to orient the students with a glimpse of key development issues trending in the world currently through the perspective of industry doyens. Apart from the subjects in the curriculum, we also introduce the students to the clubs and events on campus that help us maintain our credibility as a B-School committed to 360 degree value-based learning.”
The focus at IPER has always been to provide education with a strong sense of ethics in a practical research based environment. The idea is to hone students through an innovative and unmatched curriculum that stamps an identity on IPER graduates as smart and sharply groomed managerial professionals of tomorrow.
Dr. Khalsa explained the Corporate Expectations from Management Students in today’s work place. He explained the roles and responsibilities of different specialization say HR, Marketing & Finance in an organization and key skill required for each one of these domain. Management graduates should be able to bring in professionalism in the work place by demonstrating best management practices with positively groomed attitude. The students enjoyed the session and took a serious note on his advice.
