Expert Talk on “Melting Economies” by Prof. (Dr.) Amarjeet Singh Khalsa
On 3rd Sept. 2015 Institute of Professional Educational and Research (IPER)-Bhopal hosted an Expert Talk on the Theme “Melting Economies” by Prof. (Dr.) Amarjeet Singh Khalsa.
The issue of Melting Economies as a phenomenon has been the most discussed one in the recent times. Yet it’s still difficult to understand its interpretation and implication. Through this Expert Talk by Prof. (Dr.) Amarjeet Singh Khalsa, student participants, faculties tried out delve on the issue of Melting Economies and its dimensions through the exchange of creative thoughts. Students participated in large numbers with enthusiasm. This event was unique in its own format as it has added new dimensions apart from classroom inputs and to explore the topic in new horizon. Dr. Khalsa threw light on – Division and structure of World Economy, Behavioural finance, Credit Card Fiasco, The U.S. subprime mortgage crisis, Europe Crisis, Greece bailout, acceptance of US Dollar as the supreme currency. The great fall of China and at last opportunities for India in present scenario.
The audience enjoyed and learned the Nitty-Gritties about World trade & Economy along with the intricacies involved in it. Around 260 MBA students witnessed the thought provoking session.
