Campus Placements summary as on 27th June 2018.
Over the years there has been a gradual increase in job offers for students through campus, given that many companies conduct online video interviews on the fly. The chart depicted here narrates the opportunities provided to students in various sectors.
Note: Offer counts are as on 22nd Feb 2018. Since campus placements are ongoing and still not over for the year – there will be more weekly updates in this section.
Sectors like NBFC, Education followed by Consumer Durables saw good selections this year which were inclined to the industry trends. Also sectors such as Retail, BFSI, HR, Real Estate and IT employed sizable number of students from IPER.
Note: All registered students do not necessarily participate actively in campus placements, even though advised by the Career Center at IPER. Some may have alternate plans like furthering higher education, aspirations for becoming research scholar, etc. but still they register for campus placements. It is also important to note that students are also getting placed through channels other than campus placements.
Internships
Internship offers exposure to various roles within a
particular industry and the skills required to carry out those roles. This helps student to make a well-informed career choice. Keeping this in mind, the Career Centre has improved the internship recruitment process. Industry Interface Team explores the various internship offers and maps the right fit student to the assignment.
