    B.Com (Foreign Trade Practices and Sales Management) course offers a global perspective and focuses on the basic principles of foreign trade. Foreign Trade is branch of study which deals with the import and export of goods and commodities. The course is ideal for those who want to study practices and processes in International trade.

    B.Com(Foreign Trade Practices and Sales Management) is a three-year full-time undergraduate degree course affiliated to Barkatullah University, Bhopal.     The goal of our B.Com (Foreign Trade Practices and Sales Management) programme is to empower the students to grab the opportunities, being newly created in Accounting and Finance as a profession fueled by Globalization, Privatization and Liberalization. It aims to equip students with the knowledge and competence in the field of finance and accounts to pursue a professional career and / or furthering higher education. The salient features of Academics at IPER UG are:

    • Practical based Class Teaching: The classroom lectures are designed keeping in mind that the student should be able to understand the concepts easily and at the same time he/she should also be able to visualize the applicability of the concepts in real life outside the classroom.
    • Course Outline: At the core of Academics at IPER UG is the Course Outline. The Course Outline of every subject is given to the students on Day 1 of his college at IPER UG, so as to apprise them about the Topics to be studied, Text & Reference Books, Readings, Assignments, Classroom Activities, Web Resources, CCEs etc.
    • CCE (Class Comprehensive Evaluation): Evaluating the students is necessary to check & ensure they are grasping the topics being taught in the class. This is done in every subject round the year through a judicious mix of various activities like Assignments, Presentations, Group Discussions, Industry Visits, Quizzes, Class Tests, Role Plays etc. keeping in mind the needs and requirement of the respective subject.
    • HAM (Human Asset Maximization): Communication & Vocational Skills are an important ingredient to make a student ready for a job, higher studies or to take on the entrepreneurial instincts in him. HAM is an exclusively designed programme for IPER UG students in the form of round the year classroom sessions, engaging & challenging activities to hone up their Communication & Vocational Skills.
    • Mentor Mentee Programme: Each student at IPER UG is guided by a pre-assigned Faculty Mentor. The Faculty Mentor keeps in touch with the students & parents on regular basis to appraise them about the student’s performance both inside & outside the classroom. The objective is to identify the key areas on which the student needs to focus and improve upon.
    • Technological Facilities: To ensure that the students at IPER UG have access to the best available learning resources and material we have in place Classrooms equipped with modern teaching-aids, State of the Art Library & Hi-Tech Computer Lab. All important Notices & Teaching Material (Subject wise Course Outlines, Power Point Presentations, Readings, Cases etc.) are made available to students 24×7 through our Online Academic Portal MOODLE.
    • Online Classes: In present time when the world is fighting the COVID-19 pandemic the Online Classes are being conducted at IPER UG powered by Google Suite of Apps (Google Meet, Google Calendar, Google Classroom, Google Jamboard etc.) to ensure that the teaching learning process runs smoothly. Each student is given an Official IPER UG ID soon after he/she takes admission in the college using which he/she can access the Google Suite of Apps and attend un-interrupted Online Classes along with Offline Classes as per the extant Government Guidelines.

    Eligibility Criteria

    For applying to get admission, a candidate should have passed 12th Standard (or equivalent) Examination from a Recognized Board as per the rules of Department of Higher Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh.

    Admission Process

    Admission in B.Com(Foreign Trade Practices and Sales Management) at IPER UG is strictly through the Online Counselling conducted by Dept. of Higher Education, Govt. of MP. After declaration of Online Counselling Schedule by Higher Education Department, follow:
    Step 1: Registration & Choice Filling (Online) at MP Online Portal of Higher Education Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh (IPER UG College Code for Choice Filling is INS1465)

    Step 2: Document Verification from Any Government College (Not applicable for MP Board students who are applying under the General Category as their documents gets verified Online during Registration & Choice Filling in Step 1)

    Step 3: Declaration of Merit List (Online) by Higher Education Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh as per the schedule.

    Step 4: Reporting and Payment of Tuition Fees in the allotted College.

    IPER UG has always rewarded the meritorious students. The IPERUG Meritorious Scholarship – 2022 rewards the meritorious students from their Day 1 of College life on the basis of his/her Percentage Marks in 12th Standard. The table below mentions the scholarship details for the First Year:
